In 1992, the club began the Wildlife Reflector Program (spearheaded by Greg Kulak and Glen Davis) where a series of reflectors are placed on posts in ditches along highways at wildlife crossings to prevent wildlife/vehicle collisions. The reflectors flash the light from oncoming headlights into the woods. Studies have shown such reflectors significantly reduce collisions. The program is done in partnership with Parkland County, TransAlta Utilities, Parkland Bowbenders, and Spruce Grove Fish and Game. The clubs provide the reflectors and the county installs them.
